Duckfeet USA 50th Anniversary Gold Ticket Giveaway – Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. SPONSOR

The Duckfeet USA 50th Anniversary Gold Ticket Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by Duckfeet USA, located in 4 Cutts Street, Unit 3, Portsmouth, NH (“Sponsor”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and representatives of Sponsor, its affiliates, and their immediate family members or those living in the same household are not eligible. The Promotion is void where prohibited by law.

3. PROMOTION PERIOD

The Promotion begins on [Start Date] and ends when all 500 pairs of the Duckfeet 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Boots (the “Qualifying Product”) have been sold or on [End Date], whichever occurs first (“Promotion Period”). ******************************

4. HOW TO ENTER

There are two ways to enter the Promotion:

(A) Purchase Entry Method:

Participants are automatically entered upon purchasing a pair of Duckfeet 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Boots from [website URL] or authorized retailers during the Promotion Period. Each shoebox will contain a sealed envelope, and five (5) envelopes will contain a Gold Ticket redeemable for a $1,000 prize.

(B) No Purchase Necessary Entry Methods:

To enter without making a purchase, participants may choose one of the following methods:

Social Media Engagement Entry

• Post a photo of your favorite shoes and share why you’d love to own a pair of Duckfeet.
• Tag @DuckfeetUSA and use the hashtag #DuckfeetGoldTicket in your post.
• Posts must be public and made during the Promotion Period.
• If you use this form of entry you must fill out XXXXXX form with your contact information and proof of post to complete your entry.

Handwritten Letter/Postcard Entry

• Mail a handwritten letter or postcard (50+ words) explaining why you love sustainable footwear or slow fashion.
• Include your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
• Mail to: Duckfeet USA, 4 Cutts Street, Unit 3, Portsmouth NH 03801, Attn: 50th Anniversary Giveaway
• Postmarked by [Entry Deadline] and received by [Processing Deadline].

1. Trivia Challenge Entry

• Visit [Website URL] and complete the Duckfeet History Trivia Quiz.
• Score 80% or higher to be entered.
• Submit your full name and email address after completion.

⚠️ IMPORTANT:

• Limit ONE entry per person, regardless of entry method.
• Multiple entries via different methods will be disqualified.
• Automated, bulk, or third-party submissions are not allowed.

5. PRIZES & ODDS

• Five (5) Grand Prizes: Each prize consists of $1,000 USD, awarded via check or electronic payment.
• Approximate odds of winning are 1 in 160 (5 prizes among approximately 800 units/entries).
• No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted, except by Sponsor at its discretion.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION & CLAIMING PRIZES

• Customers who receive a Gold Ticket in their shoebox (or via a letter in the mail if non-purchase entry is submitted) must follow the instructions on the ticket to claim their prize by [Claim Deadline].
• Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries and notified via snail mail / package delivery within 14 days after the Promotion Period ends.
• Packages and Envelopes will be sent via priority mail and require signature.
• Winners have 14 business days from delivery date of mail/package to respond to claim prize.
• Winners must provide proof of eligibility, sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, and complete a W-9 form before receiving their prize.
• Failure to claim the prize within the deadline will result in forfeiture.

7. TAXES & COMPLIANCE

• Winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes.
• Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 for prizes valued at $600 or more.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• By participating, entrants release Sponsor from any liability related to the Promotion, including lost, delayed, or damaged shipments, and accept the prize “as is.”
• Sponsor is not responsible for errors, fraud, or technical failures affecting participation.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS

• Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair its integrity.
• By entering, participants consent to Sponsor’s use of their name, likeness, and city/state for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

10. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

• The Promotion is governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Any disputes shall be resolved individually and exclusively in the courts of New Hampshire.
  

11. WINNER LIST

For a list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Duckfeet USA, 4 Cutts Street, Unit 3, Portsmouth, NH 03801 with a request for the winner list postmarked by [Date].
