October Breast Cancer Awareness Project Details
Duckfeet Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
We have created a Limited-Edition Breast Cancer Awareness Sweatshirt to be sold for $50. All $50 from each sale will be donated to the New Hampshire division of the American Cancer Society- Research & Programs. Rust & Salt will be presenting a check to the American Cancer Society on 10/24/25 at our benefit concert. Our company goal from this sweatshirt campaign is to raise $5,000, which will be donated the evening of the event to the NH chairperson of The American Cancer Society.
Green Comfort Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
The ownership group for Green Comfort in Denmark has partnered with the Danish Cancer Society on a Breast Cancer Awareness campaign to create slippers and a rainboot in support of the cause.

The partnership agreement with the Danish Cancer Society is to donate 5% of all European sales. In addition to the 5% donation in Europe, Rust & Salt, the exclusive distributors of Green Comfort in the US, has committed to donating 15% of the sales in the US to the American Cancer Society. The total contribution between the 2 countries is 20% of sales. This donation applies to all Breast Cancer Awareness products sold with a Pink Ribbon on the products.
Breast Cancer Benefit Concert
Rust & Salt is proudly holding a benefit concert in Portsmouth, NH on October 24, 2025 where the musical event that evening has no ticket price, but rather a suggested donation to the American Cancer Society in lieu of a ticket price. Similar charity events that we have held in the past with organizations like the Newmarket NH Food Bank and The Crossroads House (temporary shelter for victims of domestic abuse) have raised between $4,000- $5,000 for the respective charities at the event. We anticipate the American Cancer Society receiving approximately $5,000 from the event that evening, alongside the approximately $5,000 additional dollars from the Breast Cancer Awareness sweatshirt.
