One of our favorite things about Duckfeet is the way it brings us all together. We love getting to know you and hearing your stories whether it's through visiting us in-person, calling us to chat, or sharing a photo on social media. In the spirit of connection, we're sharing what some of us on the Duckfeet USA team are up to, what styles we're wearing, and how we're gearing up for the holiday season.
HannahFor me, this time of year is all about being cozy. Although the summer is full of outdoor adventuring, in the colder months you can usually find me curled up with blankets and a book (or three). I'm one of those always-cold types, but in a chunky sweater, thermals, and Århus on my feet, I stay toasty all winter long. |
BriggsMy favorite time of year is when the temperature drops and the anticipation of snow is on the horizon! Being six months pregnant I want to be comfortable and warm while getting outside to enjoy the cold. My go to for everyday wear, whether running errands, raking leaves, or walking my perfectly plump pug are the Silkeborg. They are so cozy and warm and not something I want to take off... ever! |
MikeThis is our favorite time of year to get up early and get outside. When the tides are right, we head to our favorite beach (only 13 miles of coast to choose from!) and get the low-tide coves to ourselves with our 2 dogs. NH fall mornings require a bit more to keep warm until the sun helps things out - so I go with the Odense. The lining is great for warmth and I like the higher sides for the occasional misstep in a tide pool. |
BrittanyComfort is really important right now. For me, that looks like making time to bake treats to share with my loved ones and finding quiet time to read (curled up with multiple blankets, of course). My favorite style for this time of year is the Blåvand paired with cozy socks. |
JustinThe Århus are my inclement weather boot of choice! Whether its shoveling snow or traveling to and from the gym (when I need to keep my gym shoes clean), I love how easy they are to get in and out of. My wife and I are expecting our first child and I'm sure many snowmen will be built in this same pair. |
JimIn my free time I pursue my passion of traditional photography using film. I love the fact that it makes me slow down and it takes me to new places. My dad got me into it and I love the whole process of slowing down. It’s not just using the camera, it’s appreciating the simple beauty that surrounds us. I like the Roskilde for these adventures— my favorite thing is the patina of the leather, there’s nothing else like it. |
JamieThis time of year, you can find me walking through the woods and enjoying the transition of the seasons. I especially enjoy hiking because getting above the tree line is a very interesting perspective of the earth. The Fåborg, with wool insoles for extra warmth, is a comfortable, supportive boot for exploring. |
