Returns & exchanges
Thank you for your order! We realize the challenges of purchasing footwear online and wish to provide a smooth shopping experience. Orders placed on duckfeetusa.com on or after November 22, 2019, may be returned or exchanged until January 15, 2020, to accommodate holiday gift-giving; following this period, our normal return window resumes: 21 days after delivery. (Optionally purchased environmental impact offsets like carbon-neutral delivery are non-refundable.)
European sizing can be tricky! We want you to feel confident you’re getting the proper fit (visit our Fit Guide), so if you think you may need a different size, we’re here to help! Please send inquiries to email@example.com; we answer e-mails as quickly as we can: typically within one business day.
We can only accept items in like-new, resalable condition. This helps us sustain our business, reduce waste, and meet the expectations of future customers. For these reasons, items returned with wear may incur a 20 % fee. (Items with excessive wear will be returned to the customer.) Wear may show in:
- excessive creasing of the leather
- visibly dirty soles
Crepe soles can mark and soil easily. To keep soles clean when trying on your new Duckfeet, please try on them indoors on a clean, soft surface or on the tissue paper included in the shoebox.
Please include tags and shoebox with your return as they are considered parts of the product.

Start a return or exchange
We employ a self-serve returns system where you can easily exchange for a different size or color; you can also turn your item into store credit to purchase a different model right away, get a gift card for later, or request a refund altogether. An $8 fee covers shipping for items returned for a refund; exchanges—including those for gift cards—ship for free.
To start your return or exchange, you will need:
- the order number (e.g., DF12345 or EX-DF12345-1)
- the ZIP Code to which the order was delivered
For exchanges, the replacement order is created in our system when the carrier scans your returning package. For gift cards and refunds, upon receipt of your return at our warehouse, please allow 10 days for processing and issuance.Return / exchange

Alaska, Hawaii & international orders
Shipping costs for returns that originate outside the contiguous United States are the responsibility of the customer. Please inform us to expect your return at firstname.lastname@example.org, and address your package to:
