By Louise Belmont-Skinner

New Carlisle. IN

OUR STORY:

BlackTree Studio Pottery is named after the black walnut and beech trees surrounding our home and studio in rural NW Indiana, where we hand-built, one-of-a-kind functional stoneware. We are known for our hearty, stoneware Bread Crucibles, sculpted 'Shroom Bowls (inspired by local woodland mushrooms), Shell Bowls ("It's the bowl with a work ethic"), Tiny Face Tumblers, and Woodland Vases. Our mission is to bring art and comfort into your daily life through our pottery.

WHAT WE MAKE:

We make one-of-a-kind stoneware pottery to embody art, function, and comfort, qualities we want to share with you. Each hand-built piece is crafted to be used and held and bring a bring a smile to your daily life.
