One-of-a-Kind: Irish Chain Quilt Vest (L/XL)
This vest was made from a midweight quilt that has a delicious squish to it, and soft backing (that shows a bit of pilling), and is both hand-pieced and quilted, with stunning pink, green, and calico fabrics. The outer edge and handwarmer-style pockets are bound in a rich navy colored linen/cotton. This quilt was soaked several times, then dried in the sun, however it still has some faint, even age discoloration throughout though it was difficult to capture in photos.
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 26.5" waist, 35.5" hips.
Measurements (taken flat across) - it is best to compare measurements to a coat/vest you already own - sizing is flexible due to the open nature of this style:
Chest (armpit to armpit): 24.5" (flexible given the open nature of this piece)
Length (top of the shoulder to bottom hem): 25.5”
